Dinosaur National Monument is in northeast, Utah. The photos show a short hike around the monument one evening. I arrived at about 5PM and saw a few dinosaur fosil in the ground before heading over to the campground and a hike along the river. Then I left for Mesa Verde.
I am glad I stopped by, but there isn't that much to see. I would not plan a long visit at this monument.
100 Hikes in Utah and 50 Best Short Hikes in Utah's National Parks were great references for the trip.
Photos from a 2 week vist to Utah, Colorado and Arizona in September to October. During the trip I visited Salt Lake City, Utah; Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake; Mount Timpanogos; Dinosaur National Monument and Mesa Verde.
