These photos are from a late September hike one afternoon at Antelope Island State Park at the Great Salt Lake, just outside Salt Lake City, Utah. It really had some nice hiking trails and was largely deserted (due to the time or year and that it was threatening to rain and raining, I imagine). If I had to choose one Salt Lake City attraction to visit, this would be my choice. I saw a fair amount of wildlife, for such a short visit, including a covey (flock) of grouse (or some type of birds anyway) that took flight from the bushes as I walked nearby (so no photos).
Photos from a 2 week vist to Utah, Colorado and Arizona in September to October. During the trip I visited Salt Lake City, Utah; Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake; Mount Timpanogos; Dinosaur National Monument and Mesa Verde.
