Photos Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, Ohio: by John Hunter, July 2006.
The park encompasses a 2-mile stretch of the Little Miami State and National Scenic River, just east of John Bryan State Park in Greene County and offers a very nice hike.
I drove from Virginia to Wisconsin in 2006. During the trip I visited Rocky Gap State Park, Maryland; Coopers Rock State Forest, West Virginia; Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, Ohio; Forest Glen Preserve; Starved Rock State Park, Illinois; and Parfrey's Glen, Wisconsin.
